Imagine city lights as distant stars,
the rush of traffic, a river’s roar,
your bedside lamp, now a small campfire
that casts its warmth on solitude
and gently illuminates
quiet thoughts that begin to unfurl
like night-blooming flowers,
lining paths yet to be taken.
